Reese Mueller Profile Pic-2024

Reese was a spectacular girl with a beautiful heart and an amazing spirit.  The world is a lesser place without her in it.

She was kind, thoughtful, brave, loyal, selfless and smart.  She wouldn’t hesitate to stand up for others, always giving more than she took.

Reese was adventurous and athletically talented.  She enjoyed snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding, volleyball and basketball.  She was a member of the Port Moody Soccer Club for years, being the goalkeeper on her metro teams.  She joined tae kwon do when she was 4 years old, earning her black belt when she was 11.

Reese attended Heritage Woods Secondary School and was in Grade 10.  She had just started her first part time job at Playland and had just obtained her First Aid and CPR certificates.  She was looking forward to turning 16 and getting her learners driver’s license.

Tragically Reese died July 26, 2022, exactly 2 weeks before her sixteenth birthday.  She took hydromorphone (dilly) which was unknowingly tainted/poisoned with fentanyl.  She was 15 years old.  Reese’s life was stolen by toxic drugs.

We will never know what Reese’s life would have become, things she would have done and the experiences she would have had.  We do know her beautiful essence lives on in the hearts and thoughts of those that knew her.

Reese’s character of helping and supporting others is honored here, hoping to save lives and raise awareness to the toxic drug crisis that exists all around us in British Columbia and beyond.

Reese tragically and devastatingly lost her life.  In sharing her story, may her life and legacy help you with yours, in educating yourself and making healthy choices that are right for you.

Toxic drugs do not discriminate.  Don’t take that chance with your life.  One hit can hit back.
